DomainInspect

Main Window is a list of all domain names. Each row corresponds to a domain
name, and each domain name has such properties:
"Status": It marks the checking status of a domain name.
It can be "Unchecked", meaning that the domain name has not been
checked; "Waiting", meaning that checking is launched, yet is
waiting in queue; "Checking", meaning that connection to WHOIS
server is being tried; "Checked", meaning that checking is completed;
and "Error", meaning that checking is completed, yet error occurs
in checking.
"Availability": It indicates whether the domain name has
been registered by others or not. Its status can be "Unknown",
meaning that final checking result is yet to obtain; "Available",
meaning that the domain name is still available; "Expired", meaning
that the domain name was registered by others and expired; "Expire
in xx day(s)", meaning that the domain name is taken by others, yet
expires in recent days; "Taken", meaning that the domain name
has been registered by others; and "Unknown TLD", meaning that
checking is denied due to failure to find TLD of the domain name in WHOIS
database.
"Expiry Date": The expiry date of registration is shown
in the column if a domain name has already been registered by others.
"Registrar": Registrar is shown in the column if a domain
name is taken by others.
"Link Popularity": This column shows the weight-based
average link popularity value of domain name. For example, you have the
following search engines turned on: Yahoo with the weight of "1"
and Google with the weight of "0.001". After DomainInspect retrieves
link popularity from Yahoo and Google, the value of "Link Popularity"
column will be calculated by multiplying link popularity with its weight.
So the final result will be <Yahoo Link Popularity> * 1 + <Google
Link Popularity> * 0.001.
The search engine link popularity values are shown in following columns.
Usually, link popularity value of different search engine has different
meaning. For example, the value of Yahoo and DMOZ means number of listings
for the domain in the directory, the value of Google and AltaVista means
the number of websites (or pages) that link to the domain, the value of
Overture means the domain popularity, and the value of Alexa means traffic
rank of the domain.
Domain names in Main Window are shown in different colors depending on their
"Availability" property. You may click the column head to sort
the list based on a column. In addition to this you are also allowed to
add, remove and change order of columns by selecting "Customize Columns..."
in "View" menu.
Right click on the list calls up a context menu with following functions:
