HTMLProtector

The "Encryption" tab is used to define encryption modes and schemes; the interface is illustrated below.

HTMLProtector offers the following five encryption modes:

"Protect email links": This option will protect all e-mail links on your pages, which may effectively prevent spammers from extracting the e-mail addresses from your page with an automatic e-mail grabber.

"Protect all links": This option will protect all the links on your page to help prevent automated downloader's like Teleport Pro from downloading your entire website. Please note that if you do choose this encryption mode, search engine spiders will not be able to follow the links on your site either.

"Protect BODY section": This option will protect all the code between the <BODY> and </BODY> tags. While not affecting the way your page is displayed in browsers, this will prevent others from understanding the source code of your page. Please note that if you select this encryption mode, search engine spiders will not be able to index your site correctly.

"Protect entire page": This option will protect both the BODY and HEAD section of your files; if this option is used, search engine spiders will be unable to read all the meta tags in your pages HEAD.

"Protect nothing ": This option will protect nothing in the web page so that all original HTML source codes will be kept untouched. Also if you want to make "Partial Encryption" work, you should choose this option.

HTMLProtector also offers the following three encryption schemes:

"Encryption scheme I": The security level of this scheme is comparably low. After encryption, the size of HTML files will become large, but page loading is the top fastest.

"Encryption scheme II": The security level of this scheme is comparably higher. After encryption, the size of HTML files will become smaller, but page loading is slower.

"Encryption scheme III": The security level of this scheme is comparably highest. After encryption, the size of HTML files will become smallest, but page loading is slowest.
